I can tell your thoughts right now “I have no Bae so no date night for me anytime soon” Tbh you do not need a guy to take you out before it’s classified as a date night. You can have a date night with your squad no squad? then your bestie no bestie? You can have a date night with anyone you Love and that includes ‘YOU’ so you reading this yes you reading this Tell yourself and tell a friend you can definitely take yourself out on a date night because Self-Love is Major key!

I and Youtuber/blogger “YourstrulyOma” meet online (of course) via instagram & there was an instant click y’know. It’s true what they say it goes down in the DMs ;). After a few blogger outings we decided to do a collaboration & funny how we both wanted a Date Night Look  even before telling each other. Long story short;

Personally I could do so much better with this dress, I should have accessorised more but I kept it really simple with very minimal accessories.

What you could do to switch up your little black dress?

-Go for a statement neckpiece or earrings

-Ditch black shoes, go for coloured shoes or prints

-Maintain a sleek laid back hair Preferably a ponytail

-Mini purse/bags = Arm candy

Love this dress a lot and I can not wait to style it again this time hotter and better!

 

Okay! Here’s a Mini Story about this Look I & Oma Put together for Date Night

Oma: Heyyyyy Nonye, Chris is in town and he wants to take me out tonight

Nonye: Girlllll me too, ohh not Chris I mean Ayo Lol

Oma: Damnn Mami, Got your outfit ready!?

Nonye: err i’m not quite sure yet, hey where you guys headed to tho?

Oma: I think he said Shiro!

Nonye: Omg! Girllll it’s a double date

Oma: Yassssss

*few minutes past 6pm

Oma: Heyyy babe lets go get ready

Nonye: Let me get my stuff, I’m right behind you

*Girls freshen up *Clothes come on get ready

Now I and Oma are ready for a date night after work

 

Oma: Nay let’s Go Steal our boyfriend’s hearts

Classy & Clean for Date Night? A few tips how…

-Keep it structured

-Go for pastel or monochrome color tones e.g white, black, nude, pastel blue e.t.c

-Minimal accessorising is key i.e. no statement accessories needed

-Jumpsuit are classy not a fan? Go for pants preferably wide leg or little black dresses

-Show a bit of skin not too much just little (Mine is at the back)

Oma: Hey Hey Nay, you’ve got any plans tonight?

Nonye: Yeahh! Its date night with my bed x GreysAnatomy (A series)

Oma: Babe you do that most nights

Nonye: Err yeah & so… It’s fun for me

Oma: Nahh hun we are going out tonight

Nonye: With who babes, No guy here just Me

Oma: Lool hunnay I am calling my girlfriends and we are taking you out tonight

Nonye: But I have nothing to wear

Oma: shhhhh* girl you alwaysss have nice stuff, we can work something out

*works overrrr

Oma: Girl its time
