It’s Official! The holidays are over at-least for me, it’s back to reality, back to the constant hustle for money. Hope we all enjoyed the holidays? Well I did, got to breathe a different air and live in a different environment away from all the constant noise. Tbh as much as I love going back to my hometown every Christmas it has become quite boring cause as the last child I’m the only one & this was My first time going on a road trip ALONE.

One thing that made it fun for me? was creating visual memories through photography. Here are a few Do’s & Dont’s I’ve learnt along the line. To capture & create a travel journal. I decided to do this because I got a lot of positive comments on how much My fashionistas love the pictures I shared  (via Instagram)

I’m not a Photography expert but these Do’s & Dont’s would definitely make your next trip a whole lot FUN & keeps you busy.

Side note: It wasn’t quite easy for me to capture a few of these shots cause My Dad kept on passing comments on how I can’t do without my phone

DON’T

. Over expose the image while editing it takes out the realness of the shot

DO

. Reduce the Exposure a bit it shows off the details of the image better.

DON’T

DON’T

Need a camera to take bomb! Travel pictures

DO

Make use of a good phone with camera. I used my iPhone 6s+ for all the images here.

PS: if you ever want to invest in an iPhone go for any with an “s” I.e. iPhone 6s, iPhone 7s + etc. the cameras tend to be a lot better than the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7

DON’T

. Use different filters for your pictures

DO

. Stick to a Particular filter; keeps your feeds clean & attractive

DON’T

. Zoom in to the take the pictures, the closer the better & the clearer the pictures

DO

. Move closer and ensure your camera is focused with no blur

  1. The tips are great. But I don’t agree with camera comparisons though. The 6s is better than the 6 for sure. But not better than the 7. The 7 has better resolution or in simple terms, more colour. Pictures are more vibrant and that is how I like my pictures.
7 plus reigns supreme because of optical zoom. 🙃🙃
I’ll try these tips especially the angles. 🙂 thank you!

    1. Actually my friend has a 7 and My Camera is better than hers she admits it everyone who uses my phone agrees but I’m sureee the iPhone 7+ rains supreme 😂. Well A Camera would always be better but I only said that because a lot of people don’t know they can actually use their phones. Thank you so much for your comment really appreciate it 💛

    1. You mean your back camera? You should fix it or at least find out what’s making it bad is it a focus problem? Or if it’s a focusing issue you can at least make the most of it and title it “The Blurry Effect” you can always make it look cool
