WHY YOU MAY OR MAY NOT WANT TO SHOP ON JUMIA

What is Jumia?

Jumia is your number one online shopping site in Nigeria. Think AliExpress but for Africans, Yes Jumia might have been founded in Nigeria but is available in 14 African countries.

The month of November is “Jumia Black Friday” with interesting deals going up every Friday and Treasure hunts which I found fun because most people couldn’t believe the prices the items where going for. Anyways just like any Black Friday sales I had a Voucher Code and decided to use it wisely, So I:

• Made a List of things I needed
• Put the prices into consideration
• Which of the items would I more willingly spend my money on?
• Which items on my list was on sale

For me fashion items wasn’t on my list I’d rather shop tech or maybe shoes from Jumia. If you follow me on Instagram you’d know I got a new laptop and with that comes the need for a few accessories. After putting all of these into consideration I went online hunting for the best quality at an affordable rate. Created various lists based on prices not willing to exceed my “FREE VOUCHER CODE LIMIT” thanks to Jumia then went with the best option, checked out and got my items delivered within a 3 days (because they were all Jumia Express products none was coming from outside the country).

So happy I got this, My first Set of Makeup Brushes I went for a mini one because of how easy it is to carry around.

5) Luxurious Lip Gloss – 24 Karat

PRICE: ₦ 2,250

This was a bad decision, I do not like it at-all and won’t advice any one to purchase, it feels to thick on my lips and tacky.

6) Sheer Lipgloss – Flawless

PRICE: ₦ 1,050

It’s smaller than the above but much better in terms of thickness and tackiness but still not great but manageable.
