YouTopia Beauty Product Review: A Healthy Skin after the #BeYoutifulwithYouSkin CHALLENGE

For the first time in a while I stuck to a skincare routine, guess the idea of a challenge and seeing how best the products work after a period of four weeks/a month made me consistent. Thanks to YouTopia Beauty for reaching out to me to be a part of their #BeYoutifulwithYouSkin Challenge. I got to find out what Skincare means to a number of people and what being #BeYoutiful in their skin meant to them.

If you have been a religious fashionista on My Instagram you would recall a time when I had a rush of acne on my face (can still be found in my IG Story highlights under “Beauty”), thankfully my boss introduced me to Nnenna the young radiant owner of YouTopia Beauty & YouSkin. She spoke to me about skincare and went on to give me the “YouSkin Acne Kit” That was my first encounter using any YouSkin products.

Hence, It was with an open & trusted mind I Joined the #BeYoutifulwithYouSkin Challenge

HERE’S MY HONEST REVIEW

THE YOUSKIN VITAMIN C CLEANSER

Always wanted a cleanser cause I was told my lack of using a cleanser to fight the constant bacteria on my face was causing my frequent break outs, wasn’t fully in agreement with that cause I feel what I eat also has a play in that. Anyways have used this cleanser in 4 weeks 

Price: 6,500 NGN

My Verdict: I would definitely purchase this again as it is price friendly and did a decent job for my skin, loved the way my face felt after I use it but I would love to try out a different cleanser next not because this isn’t good but I’m a newbie to using cleansers and I’d love to explore a bit but I’d always buy this.

THE YOUSKIN VITAMIN C SERUM

I can tell the vitamin serum keeps me glowing, have heard a lot about the benefits of Vitamin C serum and honestly I’m just trying to look like JLO when I’m 40, fade those aging lines and keep my skin healthy and glowing.

Here’s what the brand says about the serum:

My Verdict: I would keep stocking up on this. In it for the long run

RADHA BEAUTY RETINOL MOISTURIZER

To be honest, did not use this as religiously as the rest I sometimes used my scentless lotion recommended by my brother but when I did use the Radha beauty moisturizer I appreciated the non greasiness and it did not make my face uncomfortable like some moisturizers do. 

Price: 13,000 NGN

My Verdict: Looking to invest in a moisturizer then try this out but I would stick to my scentless body lotion for now
