|Let your pants do the talking|
Hello,
New day, new week, new vibes, Wake up! And Slay! make every outfit count. If you are in Lagos, Nigeria you’d know it’s been quite chilly for a while and I am not complaining keyword guys “not” Lol but the dryness gets to me and today is no exception. It’s a new, beautiful and very cool day and it definitely complements the shade of this Kito Pants by @tokatoka_lagos; the calm and cool green.
A quick one before I dive into today’s “How I Style..” I don’t normally do this but I’m Currently listening to Scared to be Lonely by Martin Garrix x Dua Lipa , and it got me thinking, the song tells a lot of truth about why people get into relationships these days but truth be told no one ever wants to be lonely no matter how strong they seem to appear or how independent they want you to think they are. Just thought I put this out there and btw I Love the song.
Okay let’s get back to business, talking about lonely that’s how I felt when I came across this kito pants the first time I saw them and I couldn’t have it. It was all forms of stunning and I knew it was meant for me. Have you ever come across an item and you knew it was meant for you, you could feel it deep down inside of you? Well I have and this was one of it Lol. I thought of every possible way to style it and finally I got an opportunity to and this was how I wore mine:
THE KITO PANT IS BY NIGERIAN BRAND @TOKATOKA_LAGOS one of my fav brands right now.
Top: Just a random white vest (can’t really remember where it’s from)
The Kito pants – Sold online @STYLEMEAFRICA and @STYLEMEAFRICA.CO or visit their site www.stylemeafrica.co + they have a 10% discount sale going on, thank me later 😉
Shoes: Sneakers (as always) from the famous Lagos market
Shades: Got this from a friend but you could get this from @luchyscloset on instagram
Do not limit yourself to this there are a million and one ways to style the kito pants it could be with:
White fitted crop top+ a little box cross body bag = more daring look
White basic shirt + court shoes + a tote bag + pearl choker like necklace = more formal look
White blazer white bralet + choker = A day out more like an event.
Two main reasons I love the ‘Kito Pants’
- The highwaist nature of the pants, it cinches perfectly at the waistline and adds more beauty to my silhouette + it has pockets.
- The flow nature of the pants; who doesn’t love a good flow? There is a unique design to the kito pants, it has a split at the top part of the pants (it is not an open slit), something so little makes it flow more making it more elegant. This just proves the saying “every detail counts”
One last thing, the color is a definite ++ for me. Hope you’ve fallen in love with the pants like I did?
This is all from me, have a lovely week
|Thanks for reading|
Till next time, keep sitting, standing and walking pretty
